• Max Black

Est. DOB: October 6, 2013
Description: DSH Brown Tabby
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Max Black, one of our Two Broke Girls, is a soft little girl with gorgeous green eyes and beautiful tabby fur. She is shy at first and takes a while to adjust to new people and places, but will nuzzle you once she knows you are a friend. She will ask for attention with a polite chirpy meow.

She is not overly playful, but when she does want to play, she goes nuts! She enjoys chasing the laser pointer, playing with toy mice, running around the house with other cats, looking out the window, and sitting on the cat tree. When she is done playing, she likes to burrow under blankets or find a comfortable cat bed for a warm nap. She gets along with other cats, but would probably be very shy around young children or dogs, especially at first.

Max was pulled from a high kill shelter

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:600;;height:800

She just needs a little love in patience in her forever home to blossom into a sweet and loving girl.

Isobel enjoys toys and playing, but after a short play session has been known to get bored and wander away.

Isobel was pulled from a high kill shelter.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:735;;height:480
  • Caroline Channing

Est. DOB: October 6, 2013
Description: DSH Tabbico
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Caroline Channing, one of our Two Broke Girls, is an outgoing and energetic kitten who makes herself at home wherever she goes. She loves making friends with people and other cats and mimics the "big girls" (adult cats) in her foster home. While she is not a big fan of being held or sitting in your lap, she is all about cuddling or sleeping beside you and being petted.

She loves to follow her foster parents around the house and be a part of everything that is going on. She plays well with people and other cats. She loves to chase toys, wrestle and chase other cats, chase the laser pointer, and drink water from the faucet and showers! She has not had experience with dogs or children, but we expect she would do well with them.

Caroline was pulled from a high kill shelter.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:800;;height:600
  • Cora

Est. DOB: July 9, 2013
Description: DSH Orange
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

(Lady) Cora is just as elegant and regal as her namesake, Cora Crawley, the Countess of Grantham. Her foster parents say that Cora is one of the most uncomplicated foster cats they ever had! She loves attention and gives you head butts in return. But Cora also knows her manners and respects people and other cats alike.
Cora is not a lap cat per se, but she does like to be petted and will rub around your ankles when she needs some love. She also has the funniest, raspy meow. Cora might be shy in a new environment for a day or two, but she quickly gets comfortable. Also, while she lets her foster parents sleep through the night (unlike some younger kittens), she is quite playful and especially likes little felt mice. If you are looking for an affectionate, laid back, easy going, and beautiful ginger girl, Cora might be just the one for you.

Cora was pulled from a high kill shelter.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:554;;height:551

DOB: October 23, 2013
Description: DSH Tuxedo
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Spats is a handsome boy with little white spats on his feet that give him a very formal look, but don’t let that fool you.

This boy likes to climb his cat tree as fast as he can and take a nap at the top.

He gets along well with other cats and kittens and loves to sit in a lap and snuggle. He gets along with children (he enjoys being read to) and cat friendly dogs.

Spats likes all sorts of toys, but teaser wand toys are his absolute favorite.

Spats was pulled from a high kill shelter.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:378;;height:379
  • Orange Blossom

Est. DOB: January 31, 2010
Description: DSH Orange
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Orange Blossom is a pretty orange tabby. Solid orange female cats are very rare, and this girl is a very petite beauty, weighing just over 5lbs.

She’s a sweet girl that likes some attention on her terms. She’ll come sit beside you on the couch for attention and she has this cute deep gravelly meow.

Orange Blossom is also still a bit playful. She likes to climb and gets along with other cats after proper introductions, but isn’t likey to be a companion for another cat. She prefers a quieter home. She’s currently in a foster home with a cat friendly dog, but would prefer a more laid back dog.

Orange Blossom was found outside as a kitten, and kept by an individual until she came to Alley Cats and Angels and was spayed and vetted for adoption.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
width:800;;height:653

He chirps and talks a lot just like a bird. He follows his foster mom though the house meowing and chirping when he wants attention.

He is a sweet boy and when he wants attention, he wants a lot of it and then. Then he might be more content to nap in a window for a while or play chasing games with the other kittens in his foster home.

He’s a playful boy and very affectionate and well behaved. He also has these cute little lynx points on the tips of his ears!

Starling was trapped at a feral colony in the Brier Creek area where TNR is currently underway.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
width:450;;height:800
  • Hazel

Est. DOB: February 11, 2005
Description: DSH Dilute Calico
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00
**FRONT DECLAWED**

Hazel is a sweet girl who gets along with other cats and kittens after proper introductions. She’s also done very well with children and enjoys greeting them.

Hazel is an older cat who was found abandoned in front of a specialty pet store in Raleigh in a carrier. Alley Cats and Angels took her in and although she is older, she had a senior blood panel that showed everything is okay. All that was wrong is she had some very bad teeth that were causing her a lot of pain, but she had her teeth cleaned, the bad ones removed and now she feels a lot better and is even eating better! Cats without many teeth typically prefer eating dry food, but so far Hazel has been enjoying wet food too. She’s a nice girl that would make someone a loving and affectionate pet!

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
width:450;;height:800
  • Pepper

Est. DOB: July 15, 2009
Description: DLH Black
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Pepper is a laid back boy that enjoys napping or watching the world through a window perch. Pepper gets along with the other cats and kittens in his foster home, but can get into little spats. He would do fine as an only cat but he isn’t really interested in being friends.

He’s a sweet boy with long handsome fur, right now he’s been trimmed up by the vet because he had some knots in his soft fur. As his hair grows out, brushing it will keep out the knots but sometimes long haired cats do require some grooming.

Pepper was originally adopted from Alley Cats and Angels as a kitten, but was found alone and uncared for in a feral colony where TNR was underway. We don’t know what happened, but he’s a good boy who deserves a good home and prefers to be indoors.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
width:433;;height:800

DOB: February 19, 2011
Description: DSH Russian Blue Mix
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Belle Noir is an affectionate girl that loves attention. She likes to give her foster mom’s hands kisses (licks) when she’s being petted and she also has a lot to say!

Belle Noir does okay with other cats and kittens but would prefer to be an only cat. If she could be the dominant cat in a household she would likely do fine, she just prefers high places when there are other cats around so she can keep an eye on them – and then she comes down for attention when her foster mom is around.

She loves petting and head scratches and purrs loudly and meows when getting attention.

Belle Noir was pulled from a rural high kill shelter in North Carolina.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
width:537;;height:800

She would probably prefer to have only one sibling pet.

She’s very sweet and soft and has a black nose. It’s very cute.

Fiona was returned to Alley Cats and Angels because she was ‘door darting’ and the family had trouble keeping her indoors with a small child. • Bonanza

Est. DOB: May 8, 2010
Description: DSH Tuxedo
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Bonanza is the mother of the wild west kittens, she was found wandering a neighborhood in Raleigh with her babies.

Bonanza likes high places, she likes to be on top her foster family’s fridge where she can survey the whole room, but she's good about not being on the kitchen counters. She also likes to nap in laundry baskets or cat beds and will take a nice belly rub when it is offered. She enjoys attention and being part of the family, and she can really be quite playful. She's not much of a lap cat, but she'll enjoy sitting next to you on the sofa or sleeping with you at night.
Bonanza can be a bit of a door darter, so she needs a home where her chances of getting outside are reduced. She's allergic to topical flea medicine (it irritates her neck and the fur comes off) so she needs oral flea control and we will provide some at adoption, but it's more difficult to manage and take than the topical flea medicine so an adoptive family will want to be committed to keeping her indoors. Her foster family has had pretty good luck with keeping her inside and if she lived in a home where people exited through a mud room or garage it would be even easier. She's a pretty girl who gets along just fine with other cats and kittens and has a sleek and glossy coat she keeps well groomed

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
width:614;;height:800

He gets along well with other cats in his foster homes and isn't afraid of dogs either.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration. width:800;;height:628
  • ***COURTESY POST***

Curry and Persimmon are handsome one year-old male orange tabby littermates who were neutered and vaccinated several months ago. I've been fostering them indoors since, awaiting adoption. Both are socialized to me, but need a new family that understands how to build on that platform of trust. Persimmon is sweet and goofy. Curry is more serious and very athletic and agile. Both are very playful and like to be brushed and petted. Curry would probably do well in an environment where there was room for him to run around. I would ideally like to have these two adopted as a pair since I think it would ease their transition.

To ensure the best match between these cats and potential adopters, I do ask potential adopters to fill out an adoption application that I can e-mail after I am contacted. Please respond via the e-mail davida27609@earthlink.net or call 919-538-1611. width:800;;height:712

She views zoey as a mother and likes no other animals really doesn't fight or anything just doesn't go around them. She does take time to warm up to people generally but sometimes not. We would like if so and Adora could go together to a new home. Also she had a infected uterus also so that all was taking care of about 4 yrs ago. width:600;;height:800

  • ***COURTESY POST***
My name is Louie. I am very loving and sweet 5 year old boy....but I don't get along well with other kitties, so I will do great being your only feline housemate. I was adopted as a kitten by a wonderful lady, but sadly she passed away about a year and a half ago. Luckily Cat Care Veterinary Clinic was able to find me another home, where I was happy, until my new owner had an unfortunate fall and had to be moved into an assisted living facility that would not allow her to take me with her! I really need someone to love!
Please contact us at: katdok@gmail.com if interested in adopting me! width:800;;height:600

  • ***COURTESY POST***

This is Isabella. She is an approximately 4-5 year old domestic short hair (female/spayed) in need of a home. She was brought in to a local vet's office by an elderly woman requesting her to be put to sleep. After being questioned by the vet, it was determined that the woman's son had recently moved in, and Isabella was acting very scared and began to eliminate outside of her litter box. Luckily the vet knew Isabella was just in a stressful environment and had a lot of life left in her, so she set out to find her a good home. Isabella is shy, but once she warms up, she adores to be petted while sitting on your lap. Her coat is as soft as a chinchilla's. She does seem to be a bit afraid of men. All of her recent bloodwork is normal, and she is current on her vaccinations. Please help us find her a home - she needs one soon!!

Please contact:
Mari Juergenson at mari.juergenson@gmail.com
Triangle Veterinary Hospital 919-489-2391 width:480;;height:640

  • ***COURTESY POST***

Scout

Scout is a 13 year old domestic long hair that is up for adoption. He would do best in a single cat home. He is declawed in his front feet. From the short time that he has been with us, we have learned that he is a very sweet boy. He loves to be rubbed all over and will sometimes roll on his back to get tummy rubs. Everytime you go to pet him, he starts meowing and purring for you. Please give Scout a chance and let him into your home and your heart!!!

He is fully vetted.

Contact Magnolia Animal Hospital
919-873-9190
magnoliaah@att.net width:800;;height:533
