Ganymede

Ganymede

Ganymede is a domestic shorthair brown tabby male kitten. His back and sides are quite dark with his face showing more brown notes. He and his 5 siblings are named for 6 of the 79 confirmed moons of Jupiter.  Ganymede is a muscular fellow who loves to jump at wand toys and play with other kittens. He is usually the instigator when it comes to kitten tussling which sends him and the other rolling across the floor. His foster dad wonders if Ganymede may play a bit rough but none of the numerous other kittens have ever been injured and all walk away happy.  His favorite toys are the little plastic springs. He loves to push them around on the hardwood and tile floor, chase after them, and grab them. He has made attempts to return them to his foster but usually gets sidetracked by another kitten trying to steal the spring.  Ganymede loves spending time in laps and eagerly comes to visit people. But if there are other kittens playing near he will quickly hop down to go play.  Ganymede has been around many other kittens with ages between 6 weeks and 8 months. He has also been with his foster’s three 12-year old adult cats and has done wonderfully with everyone. He has not yet experienced children or dogs, but he seems courageous enough to tackle and become friends with others with the proper introduction and a little time.  The Moons of Jupiter kittens came to AC&A when they were found by a good Samaritan.
