This handsome fellow is Greenwich, and he is a Maine Coon mix with cute white fur boots, and a matching white fur cravat (chest patch). While shy and reserved at first, both Greenwich and his sister have been thriving while at their current foster home. Seven years young, this gentle giant plays like he is a seven-week-old kitten! Greenwich is full of energy and loves to chase his rope toys back and forth, eventually snatching them in his mouth, wrestling them to the floor. After a good play session, Greenwich will walk up to you with a deep purr to ask for some head scritches and face rubs. Due to his long fur, Greenwich does need to be brushed daily. However, lucky for you he absolutely LOVES to be brushed! While brushing him, you’ll hear Greenwich purr up a storm while rolling on his back rubbing his face with his paws. His foster mom thinks it’s the cutest thing on the planet. Greenwich has excellent scratching habits and prefers cardboard scratchers that are on the ground or a medium height scratcher. He is a laid-back cat who likes to graze on kibble throughout the day and snuggle near his foster mom. He is bonded to his sister Brooklyn so it would be preferred if they are adopted together. Greenwich and Brooklyn were taken in as young kittens and were adopted together. They were returned to Alley Cats and Angels towards the end of 2020 after their owner passed away.
