Hello! I’m Legolas. My foster mom calls me Gary because I’m a real people cat. I love interacting with my people and I’m always interested in what they’re doing. I follow my foster family around all day. I love to sleep on the end of the bed with them. I love soft blankets. I love drinking the tap water when they’re brushing their teeth and sometimes follow them into the shower. What can I say? I’m a quirky guy who loves water! Once I get to know you, I love loving on you. I will rub up against your legs so you smell better, head butt you so you know I love you, tap you so you remember to pet me, and dig to get under the blanket during movie night. I like other cats, but sometimes I get in trouble because I play too hard. I’m a big guy and my foster mom says I don’t know my own strength. Question: what is a “hulk”? Sometimes the kitties in my foster home don’t like it when I play rough and they get mad at me. It hurts my feelings and I sulk. Usually a jingle ball or a laser pointer will make me feel better though. I like playing with the dogs and kids and toddlers in my foster home too! I even let them carry me around! See!! I’m a good boy.
Legolas came to us with his siblings when he was found in a basket with another litter of kittens alongside a busy South Carolina highway. He was adopted as a kitten but returned when the wife died and the husband could no longer take care of him.
