Lobo is such a nice, handsome boy with the best purr motor ever! He is very energetic, but that could be because he has been on crate rest for over 2 months. Lobo was pulled from WCAS at their request because he was brought in with a fractured pelvis and a fracture high up on the femur. He needed x-rays, orthopedic surgery, and confinement. After he was able to move about freely, we found out he loves to play with other cats and chase them around the room. He will immediately come up to a human for attention. He likes to be petted – mainly around his head/face and down the first part of his back. He can be a bit squirmy when picked up but that’s because he wants to run and play. It’s only been a short time since he was allowed that kind of freedom. If you are kneeling down, he will try to crawl on you. He loves string toys and kicking balls around. He is a bit reserved and shy and hides when in a new place, but he quickly warms up after 24-48 hours. After that, he does a complete turnaround and loves to explore. *Lobo has the potential to be a door darter, so his forever family needs to be very mindful and careful about that.* His fractures are now healed, he has been cleared by the ortho surgeon and the vet and he is ready for his forever home. He would do best with another cat that he can play and wrestle with.
