When Schnucki explores, he usually trills a happy song, and likes to tell people all about his day. He is playful and often seeks out toys that his human can use to play with him. He likes to fetch spring toys and will run around to chase a feather on a string or shoelace. He loves to rub the corners of his mouth against your fingers and receive chin and back scratches. He does not like to be held, and will get tense when picked up, but he tolerates it to be moved. He is not a lap cat but does like to hang out with his humans and gets really into some good scritches! Schnucki LOVES wet food but eats dry food if hungry enough. He magically appears from his cozy nap spots as soon as a can opens. Schnucki does not get along with aggressive or dominant cats, but he does enjoy the company of kittens, chill adult cats, and people. He tends to be anxious, especially when in new situations or when there are loud noises and takes a while to adjust to a new house. He is currently on Prozac to help him through being returned and changing foster homes, but this can probably be discontinued after he fully adjusts to a new adoptive home.
Originally adopted as a kitten, Schnucki came back to us due to bullying by the original cat in his adoptive household.
