Sparrow is one of our special needs kittens. She has very mild CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) and one hip is slightly higher than the other. We believe Sparrow was hit by a vehicle when she was approximately 4 weeks old and her pelvis was broken. She was in confinement for two months to allow time to heal. At her last x-ray, one hip is slightly higher than the other but doesn’t seem to bother her and she runs around and plays like the other kittens. With her CH, she has the cutest little body wiggle that will always remain but will not affect her health-wise. It won’t get better and will not get worse. She is super sensitive to touch but you are able to hold and carry her as long as she has not been over stimulated. Sparrow is one of those kittens that get along with everyone. She has been exposed to older cats and kittens and children. Sparrow is very playful and loves to play with spiral rings, crinkle balls and the ball chaser plus a feather wand.
Sparrow eats Iams Kitten, Blue Buffalo Sensitive Stomach and Purina One Sensitive stomach. She also loves Fancy Feast Flaked fish and shrimp.
Alley Cats and Angels was contacted when a fellow rescuer needed Medical assistance for Sparrow.
